INTOXICATION are an independent 5 piece band from North London. We play our own breed of heavy alternative rock; the style is sometimes hard to define but you can make up your own mind by downloading a track or two from our demo pages.

People who have heard our CDs or listened to us at gigs have compared our sound to The Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Alice In Chains, Faith No More, and Nirvana. The music tends to switch between melodic and heavy grunge although the sound often changes from song to song. If you download one of our tracks leave us a message on our message board or email us and let us know your opinion.

The music of Intoxication is written by the whole band; we often get ideas and then take them into the studio and develop them, then its a natural selection process as to which songs sound good in a set.

As well as having a large back catalogue of songs, there are a lot of songs in the development phase which will be recorded at the beginning of the new year.
